This is a recording of a webinar given by Stats4SD. Sam Dumble explains some key concepts about precision and variability within a dataset, using a small custom web app to demonstrate the concepts discussed. The webinar includes: a brief recap of summary statistics and graphics a discussion of estimation from samples, including an explanation of what a confidence interval means. the important difference between precision and accuracysome discussion of disaggregation of data and what that means for your study design.
