In this video, Carlos Barahona (Principal Statistician) and Andrew Pinney (Senior Statistician) discuss some issues surrounding the interview process when using digital devices. This includes some suggestions on how to prevent the device itself forming a barrier between enumerator and respondent. These interviews were conducted in late Summer 2015, as part of a series of resources designed for researchers of the CRP-Drylands System. This video was produced by the Statistical Services Centre, University of Reading, for the CRP-Dryland Systems Research Support Pack.
