A collection of methodologies and tools to be used to facilitate collective action and solutions based on full stakeholder participation. Would be useful guidance for those working with farmer groups.Contains practical advice for facilitation of participatory activities such as workshops, along with instructions for example activities. © Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA). From the blurb:This book is a “toolbox” for rural-development stakeholders and professionals – extension workers, advocates, community leaders, researchers – who wish to improve and systematize community participation in projects and initiatives. It is intended for those who have realized, through their own experiences, that participation is an essential prerequisite for sustainable development. Note: This resource was added to this database as part of a migration of resources from the now defunct CCRP Sphaera platform, and is still awaiting a comprehensive review and quality check.
