Summary: A description of how to apply the Social Return on Investment (SROI) method in an agroecological context.Methodology: Defining the indicators which represent the key social outcomes, assigning monetary value to this and then assigning values based on what extent the outcomes can be attributed to the project, what the negative impacts of the project would be, what externalities may have contributed and what is sustainable. Usage: To be constructed on a case by case basis dependent on the key indicators of interest.Relevance to CCRP: Moderate. Examples used are not relevant to CCRP - but using a similar approach for evaluating project level outcomes on social criteria could be useful. Particularly the considerations of deadweight, displacement, attribution and drop-off. However there is a strong level of subjectivity to determining actual values for this.
